What are the national entry requirements?
No qualification-level prerequisite is specified in the official Release 1 text. Provider admission checks may still apply.
Ask the provider separately about learning support, admission, study load and placement readiness.
What practical work is required?
CHCCCS040 requires at least 120 hours of direct support work in at least one relevant organisation and support for at least three people. Hours alone do not complete the assessment.
What if you studied an older course?
CHC33021 supersedes CHC33015 and is not equivalent. Ask the provider to assess your records for credit or recognition of prior learning; do not assume automatic transfer.
