Experience may be assessed, but evidence must meet all course requirements.

Can caring experience be considered?

Recognition of prior learning can assess relevant experience, including learning outside formal study. The key question is whether authentic evidence meets the course requirements. Family caring does not automatically produce credit or a certificate.

How should you start?

Describe your experience to the assessor and ask for an evidence and gap-assessment plan. Discuss how to protect other people's privacy before supplying records. The RTO must decide what further evidence or learning is needed.
