Can my current support job be used for assessment?
Relevant work may support evidence, but the RTO must confirm fit.
When might your job help?
Relevant support work may provide assessment evidence, but a job title is not enough. The RTO must decide whether your workplace, duties and evidence meet the course requirements. Recognition of prior learning also requires an assessment decision.
What should you bring to the discussion?
Describe your duties and setting without sharing client records. Ask the assessor which evidence is suitable and what employer involvement is needed. Get approval before assuming ordinary work hours will count toward the course.
